Isometric Letter Build
This Cinema 4D build animation was done for a Motion Graphics class project. The goal of this project was to construct a “building of the future” based on the letter “A” in Avenir font. The challenge of this assignment was to emulate the letter “A” while making an appealing, complex build with a futuristic twist.
The animation and build of the house was created in Cinema 4D. The twinkling stars in the sky were later added in After Effects. Sound design rendered in Adobe Audition.
The design of the house was based on an rustic A-frame cabin. It was modelled to be both appealing to look at as well as to conceptually live in. I gave the rustic form a modernized twist by adding glass walls and hovering stairs, as well as elevating it above the trees and stream in order to be a part of nature without disrupting it.
